OK, I feel really stupid but I just can't manage to insert images to my posts. I click the "Insert Image" button and paste the image URL from my RFF Gallery, but all I get is a broken icon. And no image in the post.
It seems everybody else can do this, so I guess I must be doing something wrong.

make sure that your image host allows material to be put on other websites.
If the image is hosted from tripod.com or picasa then it most likely wont work.
I use www.Imageshack.com and lots of people love to use www.photobucket.com .

Well it shoud work from RFF but if it wont hopefully a moderator will see this post and look into it. You can always insert the actual image into the post by clicking the paper clip icon.
Not all forums allow images to be posted. Where were you trying to post the image?

You cannot insert an image in the RFF gallery into an RFF post.
Weird, but true.
There are two options:
1 Upload the photo somewhere in the internet, and insert the URL to it in your RFF post.
2 Attach your photo to a post as a thumbnail which will open to the full photo size when clicked.
Annoyingly when you use the attachment method you are only allowed to attach a photo once ever. So, if you have a photo that you attach to one post about 'derelict' and you later wish to attach it to a different post in a thread about 'buildings' you cannot.
