A local TV station offers a free weather and news app. I understand making a little money to pay for a free service. But for how long do they get to make money without sharing it with us users. You would not believe what personal information they were going to harvest and sell.

I am one of those weirdos that reads ToS and sales contracts. It will save you money and protect your privacy.
