Interesting auction item from Japan

Almost $15,000 now. Couldn't tell how much longer for bidding. It would be interesting to see the "sniper action". Could be an impressive sale...

To date that Original Canon 'Hansa" hasn't had a bid yet and will be surprised if it gets any.

If you would like to see a 1936/37 MINT in BOX CANON HANSA with all the fruit then check out Westlicht in Austria and look up Lot 392

This example should hit the 30K AUS$.

Waaaaay beyond my pocket.

PS good way to check out what the auction description is, cut and paste it and stick it into Google Translate.

Its listed with a BIN price of 1,500,000 yen. No bidding wars on this one.

The seller often lists items simultaneously on the Yahoo Japan auctions and eBay. Is it not listed on eBay as well?

No bidding on this auction? Oh. I thought that number below the price was number of bids to date.

I had some poor luck with Google translate on Japanese and Hong Kong (Chinese?) web pages so I didn't try it with the above.

Personally, I shouldn't own such rarities. I would be so tempted to take it out for a spin (I like to use my cameras too) and this is more of a genuine museum piece. Good thing I'm "financially challenged".

My Nihongo is limited. I suspect that is true of a lot of people over here. So this post is pretty worthless except for the cool crowd. Of which I am not a part.
