Hmmm. Looks like the Fuji has a weak ir filter... Never realized this.. Looks like it is letting ir in at least up to 720nm. I going to need to check this out on both my xp1 and xe1. My x100 (original) did not have such a week ir filter. I wonder if the newer x100s has a weak one.
Well one way for me to tell is compare the exposure info I am getting from my Olympus epl1 which has been converted to 715nm w/ the 720 Hoya filter on both cameras. Given the Fuji iso is about 2/3 stop off, I will just crank the exposure comp accordingly..
And of course the look of pictures from both cameras.
Am I missing anything here?

Well.. Bad news, the ir filter is just as strong as the x100. It is letting a small amount of ir thru.
Reference.. Olympus ir converted set at iso 200 and lens at f5.6, shutter was 160. Same shot using a xe1, shutter was 2 seconds. The xp1 was just as bad.
