Just stumbled upon this Character project done by "usanetwork" (no idea who they are or what they do), but the photos are quite good and the videos accompanying each selected photographer are great to watch.
Something in particular I noted watching the videos is that the bulk of the photographers seem to be using film of sorts. There were a few really old cameras (view type) with bellows on polaroid film packs, a couple of mamiya rb monsters, and even a rolleiflex TLR used.
Incidentally I thought the best interpretation of concept and final images came from "Joe Fornabaio" who was using a regular DSLR.
