If you are going to be in San Francisco this year, and you are interested in American art photography of the sixties and seventies, you will want to catch this show at Pier 24.

http://pier24.org/exhibitions/

Pier 24 is an interesting exhibition space for photography. The shows and the space are large, but they limit the number of visitors severely, so you feel pretty much alone with the work. And the work is pretty much all there is. The galleries are free of any text, ID or explanation of the works. Admission is free but each visitor must make a reservation in advance.

reservations are online.
And you need to make a separate reservation for each person (annoying, but that's the way they do it).

Looks pretty good, will be something nice to check out on the weekend :)
