I was wrong. There are a couple 35mm pictures in photo 23. Well, at least it looks that way. Two guys in the second row back, right of center. One has a 35 I can't make out hanging by its neckstrap while he shoots with a proper press camera. The guy to his left is shooting something in a very 35mm sort of hold (and shutter release position), but it is obscured and made to look like something else by the movie camera to his left.

Nikkor 5cm lenses for Nicca and Tower cameras sold by Sears.

Japanese rock'n roller "Micky Curtis" looks suspiciously like a clone of Gene Vincent.
