It's a pretty good approximation, Keith. I think it a tad incorrect on a couple of subjects, but nothing really major. I recommend Krages' book, it's a terrific source for legal information. One thing the author specifically leaves out is the subjects 'expectation of privacy' which should actually be "reasonable" expectation of privacy. We can all expect privacy all we like. The courts determine what is a 'reasonable' expectation.
Not to hijack this thread but I've not done street photography in almost twenty years so correct me please, anyone, if I've got it wrong. Shots of people in public places done for and displayed as news and artistic works are protected in general and model releases are not required?
Likewise for private property (not copyrighted) and property releases?
