By chance I came across the results of a recent Westlicht auction - the catalogue contains many fascinating photos by photographers known and unknown, quite a few unfamiliar to me (and now bookmarked).. highly recommended if you have some spare time to browse :)

Many of the prints are historically interesting and quite powerful, eg. Margaret Bourke-White's close-up portrait of Hermann Goering being questioned by 50 war correspondents in a garden after being arrested (Lot 74, sold for EU 1,320).

Not all prints sold, and some sold under the reserve for what I thought were quite reasonable prices (though I don't collect prints), while auction prices achieved for others were eye-watering, at least to this antipodean - a few books sold for 10,000-20,000+ Euros.

A few examples - all prices in Euros - follow link above to see the pictures (which to me are far more interesting than the prices):
12. Atget, print. 2,160
20. Germaine Krull, book. 20,400 (a contemporary and friend of Man Ray)
39. Man Ray, print. 5,400
42. Sudek, print. 2,400 (beautiful bw print of some roses next to a window)
92, HCB, print. 22,800

Cheers,
