Folks,

looking into what kind of Rolleiflex to buy I was searching for Zeiss Opton Tessar (problems, separation ;-)), and came across this:

http://www.kamera-restauration.de/?cat=9
(Also Keep your eyes open for the "lens repair" section, tried to link but failed.)

(No personal experience with this shop/repair service, no hidden agenda).

Gotta like the humour, and interesting talking shop about repairing all sorts of classics (with focus on Zeiss and Contax/Contarex).
Also like the attitude of admitting that Rolleiflex were better built than Ikoflex, even though he is a Zeiss lover 🙂

Just thought I'd pass this on, enjoy the read.

Good read, and just goes to show how much skill there is in taking apart a camera, adjusting correctly and then putting it together again. I admire those few who can do this well, attend to the details and take pride in a job well done.

Bougth several Cameras at his shop, which worked fine.

Gave him a Contarex TLR for repair (shutter) in 2010, haven't got it back yet. From time to time i've sent him emails regarding that case, no answer since mid 2012...:bang:

Hm, have you tried the phone? No answer since mid 2012, that's quite a stretch. Hope this will get sorted out for you.
