First watches I purchased to wear at the end of the eighties and recently found them at home. Wearing them periodically. USSR quartz watches for export. Labeled as Cardinal.
I have amphibia Russian mechanical watches which were given to me as souvenir on visiting one television station, watches with station logo on it. Watches spring broke shortly after they were given to me. Recently I found it is common problem for the movement of these watches. I would have to disassemble all mechanism to get it fixed.
I have Channel+ souvenir quartz watches which were given to me at this TV Station in Stockholm.
I have my father watches which were given to him at work. He doesn't want to wear them. I do.
I have watches given to me at work. Wearing them, but not so often. Too expensive.
I have old and beaten "titanium" watches which I used for work in the past. It has time zones and timer. I was changing time zones few times per month, week for years at work and travel.
Recently they stopped working and I couldn't fix them. I purchased cheap, simple, but labeled as from Denmark quartz watches for every day. Shortly after the purchase, my old watches for work started to work again.
I also have one working mechanical watches made at the end of USSR. Victory model. The name is the Memory to me of the World War Two and the Victory of people who were fighting for their land and land of their origin.
Not as the World became now, where so called refugees are coming, not adopting to new life, demanding all to be given for them and planning terror just because people of the land where they came to are trying to fix the problems in the land they were came from.
