My Nippon Kogaku (i.e. Nikon) W-Nikkor.C 1:4 f=2.5cm lens on Sony A7R Mark II camera with a Techart AF adapter ..........................
The lens is the only 25mm lens produced by Nippon Kogaku besides a C-mount cine Nikkor and was designed for Nikon rangefinder cameras. Nikon rangefinders use both external and internal mount for their lenses. This lens uses internal mount and has to focus by turning the index wheel on the camera body. As such, it is difficult to adapt the lens to other cameras; for using this lens on a digital camera, which in this case a Sony A7R Mark II, I have to set the lens tp infinity and attach it to the camera through Techart AF adapter together with a Nikon-S to Leica M adapter. By the AF adapter, the lens is use as AF lens and focus accordingly.

I found an FSU Kiev adaptor which is for E mount. Internal mount. It works well. I believe it may work on a Nikon rangefinder lens also.
Easy to manual focus with this setup.
