Here's a very interesting lecture by one of my all time favourites, Stephen Shore:

The video is an entertaining mix between history of photography, personal anectodes and insights into Shore's thought processes. If there's one thing one should take away from this it is the importance of thinking about what one wants to do with photography.

In more fairness, we're all morons.. in one way or another.

it's a building on the university of alberta campus...not sure exactly what the name of it is though.
Edmonton, incredible I have been working there as a PostDoc for some time and I would have never recognized the building but I had a feeling of having seen this before. Let me see if I remember the campus, is it somewhere on the back of CAB? Like, with the back at the dorms and watching CAB you pass, say, on the right of CAB down the stairs and curry on toward the subway? Maybe I am completely off now but definitively I have seen that building. Thank you for bringing nice memories back (even if details might be wrong)!

... you can try the suggestions which seem right to you and if they work for you all the best, otherwise...well you tried and you know you don't like them. ...
