I think the foveon sensor is only now starting to capture people's attention ... so this article at dpreview is quite interesting even though it is a couple of years old.
This certainly makes a change from the normal silliness that happens around here ... where everyone caresses their credit card and salivates over technology that is still six months from actual release!

That was when the original sd1 was announced. It is the same sensor technology that is being used today in all the Merrill's. The info is still valid.
