I think the foveon sensor is only now starting to capture people's attention ... so this article at dpreview is quite interesting even though it is a couple of years old.

This certainly makes a change from the normal silliness that happens around here ... where everyone caresses their credit card and salivates over technology that is still six months from actual release! 😛

That was when the original sd1 was announced. It is the same sensor technology that is being used today in all the Merrill's. The info is still valid.
