http://blog.leica-camera.com/interview/an-interview-with-michael-kamber-of-the-new-york-times/ A nice interview with Michael Kamber which I stumbled on today. I don't know for how long it may have been out though.
A funny thing is though how them manage to mention every M-model he has used (and sometimes a little about the model) except the M8
Maybe the author of the blog chose not to talk about that or just remove that part.
Kambers blog use to contain quality stuff also, well worth to read. http://lens.blogs.nytimes.com/author/michael-kamber/

Interesting, thanks for sharing.
For those who don't know/remember, I think this is especially considering Michael Kamber's field test of the M8: "I have found the Leica M8 to be unreliable, poorly designed, and to deliver substandard results in most of the situations in which I have used it." ... "For a working photojournalist in a combat situation, I would judge the Leica M8 to be unusable."
