Interview with Nikkor designers: Haruo Sato and Koichi Ohshita, from "Nikkor: The Thousand and One Nights"

It's nice to see this interview featured here. I corresponded with Ted Forbes afterwards about it. He put a lot into this - not just the set up and filming, but the editing and getting the translation done properly. Ted's a real fan of Nikon and it's history, and a close follower of Nikon's A Thousand and One Night... Just look at the intro to this video and you him show some of the Nikon kit he has - including the 50/1.5. Ted's enthusiasm in this interview really draws Sato-san and Oshita-san's passion for lens design out in a way that only a real pro could do. It's a treat to watch.

Any insights into why it took two years to publish from time of recording?
