That's to you, and certainly nothing wrong with that.
For many (myself included), the iPad has proven to address a huge part of my personal and working need for a computing device. I've scaled back on what I have in desktop and laptop computing equipment because for all but the top end needs (photo image processing of raw files being the biggest of them), the iPad 2 does the job perfectly and far more efficiently in terms of price, space, power consumption, etc.
The good news is that there is now a huge range of different equipment available to suit all these individual needs. When I've used other tablets, they didn't do what I need/want as well.
I guess the bottom line is that you see the tablet as a plaything, where I get a good bit of my work done with one. Different perspectives..
