iPhone 4s Sample Gallery (you should really take a look)

I've had the iPhone 4S for 24 hours - it is yet again another Apple coup d'etat

I actually haven't scrutinized the photos yet. but iMessage (available in iOS 5) and Siri (now only on the 4S) are worth the price of admission.

Siri is nothing short of amazing, we are seeing the voice equivalent of the touch screen. it's that good, I can dictate long notes or short reminders and the accuracy is stunning. I can also ask questions, get directions, and send text messages all verbally. this has to be seen to be appreciated.

iMessage is an iOS IM protocol/service - it will replace all iOS to iOS SMS messages, no charge other than needing wifi or data service, also allows for free overseas texting btw iOS devices - the destruction of the extra fees for SMS messages will be to the beneft of all consumers. When and if Apple releases an Android or Blackberry version of the app, you won't want to be in the SMS business

oh yes the camera - quick start-up , at least quicker than the iPhone 4, and you see the quality in this thread.

(disclosure - I have at times owned Apple stock and am a completely biased Apple fanboy)

I think from a business standpoint Apple would rather sell more of its hardware than make someone else's more useful. So while iwish they did, I suspect they won't. I don't know if they have any real interest in killing off the carriers' revenue from SMS since they are partners
