So far, at about a dozen pictures, I'm quite pleased with the camera. In a month I am headed off for vacation and am considering not taking any other camera along.

Thanks Raid - I debated between the two but opted for the 6-plus for the larger screen (emails).
I'm headed to a conference down in San Diego in a few weeks and thinking of bringing no other camera but my iPhone... I don't think I would do that with a major trip to Europe or Asia, but in my own backyard (only 100 miles away) at a conference that I attend regularly? Sure, why not.
BTW, nice campus photo.

I use the Bluetooth keyboard from my iMac with the 6+.
It's super lightweight and compact.
The keyboard just stays in my bag until I have heavy typing to do.
The big 6+ display is really nice for email 🙂

I'm really impressed by Snapseed. They just came out with a Version Two that's pretty fantastic.
I also like working with the editing functions in Instagram -- also newly revsied too, as it happens.

I also like Snapseed. It's modules are very easy to use and one can make very subtle adjustments.
My only wish is that one could save a higher quality version than whatever default is.
I'm speaking more to the old Mac version although I also use the iOS app.

The iphone 6 is quite nice for snapshots. Aperture adjustment would be icing on the cake 😉 Would have loved some bokeh in this shot, but I still like it as is.

Camera+ as Greyscale recomends is great.
One can seperate the focus point and desired exposure area very simply for "auto" operation.
Focus and exposure cn also be overridden and done manually by sliding the scale for those functions.
Here is a quick screengrab of the app.
You can see the scale for the shutter speeds as I am in exposure setting. Clicking on the focus icon changes the slider for distance.
One can also set iso and white balance as well as format ratio and some other settings.

You can't lock focus and exposure in the native app, though.

Not as nicely or comprehensive.
Adjusting actual ISO and color temp.
Manually focussing real time by sliding a scale rather then the native "pick and peck".
Camera + is a really cool app. 🙂
