I was looking to see if there is a simple iPhone/iPod app that would let you keep track of pictures you take. In brief -
1) Let you set up your gear collection, including multiple cameras and lenses ;
2) Setup current camera, with lens and film choice;
3) Allow you to easily record the exposure/aperture for each frame you take (and optionally add a note as to subject).
So, you're walking around taking pictures, and after each shot use the app to quickly record the settings (at minimum), hopefully with a couple of button presses.
The motivation would be for those of use trying to develop a better feel for exposure settings. You could review your shots after the fact. I often try to remember what settings I used, and usually have only a hazy recollection.
I could not readily locate such an app. I don't know what the level of interest is - would it be too much trouble to bother with?
Anyway, I might try to build it if it's not available, just for fun (but probablly not profit).
(Apologies if this was discussed already, or if "everyone" knows about such an app. )
Thanks!
Randy

Well, you could try the free audio recording app called Audioboo http://audioboo.fm/ it would be faster than trying to type things out.

I guess that' would work. The advantage of the app would be in retaining a database. Actually, I could take it a little further, and eventually pull in scanned photos and link with the exposure info.
