The "Gathering Storm" has been a traditional subject for photographers. I wonder: Might Raid and others in the area take some shots as the hurricane approaches? Note: only as it approaches, not when it has become dangerous!
I grew up in Miami, where I rode out a number of hurricanes with the family, as a child. So I feel a sort of connection with the area during hurricane season. I like to watch Stephanie Abrams on The Weather Channel when she stands out there in the wind explaining things. She cut it too close last year, though. I don't want any of our members to do that!
