Hi all, I suspect that something is wrong with my GS.
When the yellow light is on in a dim room the shutter speed seems like it's around 1 sec at F16.
It gradually increases from there as turn down the f-stop.
Is this correct? I thought the slowest speed in auto should be around 1/30?

thanks for the info greyhound man.
so 1/30 is just when the yellow light goes off right?
maybe mine's working correctly then.

Look at the section of the manual called Exposure Control
http://www.yashica-guy.com/document/g-manual.html
"The appearance of the YELLOW arrow signifies too little light for hand-held photography, since the
exposure speed will be slower than 1/30 second"
So I'm thinking that as soon as the yellow light goes OFF it means the shutter speed is at 1/30
