Is it possible to use the internal VF of an M4 for a 28mm ZM lens?

I confess ...This topic probably came up but just being lazy to search the database.

Is it possible to use the internal VF of an M4 for a 28mm ZM lens?

The outer edges of the viewfinder are close to what a 28mm frame line should be, so it should be fine.

When Leica introduced the M4-P it had 28mm frame lines, and 75 also. When I sent one of my M2 bodies in for a CLA many years ago I had the new frame line set installed. They're right up against the visible edge of the finder image. You could as easily get by without them. Just use the entire finder area.
