Im curious about the Minolta HiMatic. Does it have a true rangefinder on it or only a viewfinder and then you simply guess the distance?

Thanks

I don't think any are manual only, but some models allow manual control of shutterspeed and aperture. For example, the 7s allows programmed auto exposure or full manual. OTOH, the more modern E, F, and G models only allowed program auto or auto flash.

Depends on the model. I own the last of the Hi-Matics - the Minolta Hi-Matic GF. Made in Japan in 1984, fully manual zone focusing point-and-shoot. Yes, the body is plastic, but the lens is as sharp as anything, with really great color rendition too. Easy to use, silent and small.
