I have a leica standard from 1936 that I am thinking of selling. on the base plate there is an old paper stamp that reads "FOTOHAUS KLEINHOLZ K O L N HOHE STR. 112". This could be the original store where the camera was bought. Does this stamp give my camera any collector value ? Thanks

No, the store label generally doesn't add any additional value to the camera to collectors. An engraved label could increase interest, but then could reduce it. Normally, this site doesn't offer any estimates of value. That can be done by watching eBay sales and consulting Collectiblend's site. If you can, you may want to post a picture of the camera. Just about every old camera had a shop stamp/label. I have encountered collectors of these stamps, detached or on low-price camera bodies (many are decals that can't be detached from rough surfaces). But most 20th century stamps are low value even among collectors, maybe 1-5€ each - so no, they don't add measurably to the price of a Leica, nor would anybody buy a 300€ camera to collect a 3€ stamp.

Thanks for all the replies. I have had a few barnacks and this is the first one I have seen with this label. It is a very nice feature.
