Well Yes, but only because......

Well Yes, but only because......

My wife just left me with my best friend and my dog. They took my 4WD pickup (hiboy), towing my bass boat, plus my collection of commemorative Kentucky Fried Chicken "Legends of Nascar" chicken buckets.

(Sniff) I miss the dog. :(

Sort of hard to know when something becomes a 'passion'. I have been into photography for more than 60 years, mostly as a hobby, but for about 25 commercial too(in the 60's through the 80's). I have always had a camera with me, so that may be a passion.
That said, I've been into flying for nearly as long, although for the first 10 years it was with Dad because I wasn't old enough to have a license. I have not been without an airplane for more than 40 years.
After that, comes food/cooking, and it's support, gardening, along with hunting.
There is also music (playing), wood work, and a whole host of other interests. Like some have said, I'm interested in almost everything.
Of course, God and family come first.

Well I answered the no arty pro What Im taking what to be student as Ive just finished the first year of a photography degree.
I have lots of things Im passionate about, Politics, Modern Architecture, Newcastle United Football Club, Film, Travel, Driving( but I don't care about the car), Music, Art in general. I think having other passions makes you a better photographer.

Family, watching my girls' many sports activities (I'm a soccer/volleyball/softball/track dad), baroque music, flyfishing, cane fly rods. I was one of those absorbed into the digital camera age, but having a longtime passion for using bamboo flyrods and vintage fly fishing gear, it was only natural that a Canon 7 found it's way into my hands. Guess I sorta like doing things the old way which includes my picture taking. This site has been a nice stretch of river to wade out of the digital camera age.

No its not my only hobby just one of many. I am also a huge gamer (video games) and also fairly into reading, music and movies. I also like to travel and I love cars (driving and working on them) however my creative side needs photography and I also love the cameras themselves and working on them (and selling them etc etc) I also like making music. I'm terrible at them (music and photography) but I love them both. I have made some money at photography

photography is not my only passion...

i also dig music/synthesizers, track bikes, architecture, and sex...

Photography is an insidious fungus because it's compatible with almost everything else I do. I'd be quite unlikely to head out for my lunchbreak carrying a saxophone...

I always had some kind of hobby at certain periods of my life.
Hiking, fishing, some sports, rock music, collecting butterflies, painting, computers, automobiles, trains and railfanning, photography.
But no more than two at a time. Now photography "took over" for everything else for last 2 years. And it goes well together with family lifestyle.

I am into many things.. But if you were to ask anyone who knows me, they would say sailing, photography and my family are my passions.

I am also passionate in the sack.

Well I make my living from photogrpahy, so it is pretty full time, but still a passion. My real passion is reserved for my wife, and then I have music as a hobby.

I've thought a bit, read a lot - Mr. Hicks & Mr. Mattock are both spot on - and hit the last choice because this is one really p*ss poor poll.

For the record, I have many things I enjoy. Currently photography is a hobby. Gugh willing, it will be my living before I pass.

But in the end, while I respect what the OP is trying to learn, the reality is such that this poll will not learn it.
