Ohh dear, now you have done it - that is pure bravery. Quite a few people would find this to be sacrilege. On a personal note, I would like to know how well it works?

No problem at all, just no auto-aperture and really slow shooting if u stop down alot

The problem is the 85/2... showing the same kind of taste which uses an A2 (no ECF, 5 crummy points, atrocious A-TTL and a notoriously crappy control dial). You have to use either a 105/2.5 or an 85/1.4 and an EOS 3 as a minimum. There are no other Nikon short teles in the universe 🙂.

How do you find that adaptor? I have the cheap Fotodiox adaptor, I believe it's the same one you have pictured, for my 5D and Nikon 50/1.4S Pre-AI and it's very loose.

Something still not right here . . .

keytarj - only feels lose with the 105 f2.8, the 85mm/20mm/28mm have been fine with this one.
