Is the x30 worth buying today 04/2016?

I went on a holiday in Cuba recently and took with me a Zeiss Ikon ZM and three lenses as well as an X30 and ended up using the X30 for everything. Like most cameras it has it's pluses and minuses:

FOR

• Very well built for a compact camera
• Zoom range is adequate (for me)
• Nice colours in daylight
• Choice of film stock simulation E.g. Velvia
• EVF and tilting screen are very versatile
• Logical controls and menus
• Starts up fast with very little delay in shooting
• Reasonably pocketable
• Not expensive new (under £300 from Amazon)
• Looks nice

AGAINST

• Not good in poor light -- washed out colours and some noise
• Fuji's RAW conversion software (Silkypix) is horrible

Yes, great little camera. Best bang for the buck.

I have my x10 and I like it.The viewfinder is not that usefull and some more traditionalstyled Hardware controlbuttons for shutterspeed or Aperture would be nice. But it has the right size and many options to Experiment with.

Seems like if you like the X30, now is the time to get it since it is now discontinued and a X40 is not in the works.
