Is there a Black and White Positive film?

My ultimate plan with this positive B&W film was to use my Fuji 6x9 and make some good shots to frame -- but, I want to frame the Positive in a matte backing with a back-light in the frame, maybe a few in each frame. This is where the curiosity for a B&W Positive came from.

Somewhere in my darkroom I still have some film in about an 8" roll which was made to be printed the same as paper, to make larger positives.

I also had some Fuji product I picked up at a Camera show that created a color positive which could be illuminated from the back-- was RA4, so ran it through my Jobo processor, taped some "prints" in my office window.

Either of these products, or perhaps some Ortho sheet films may serve your purpose?

I'd like to do some stuff with my 6x9 but I need a Black and White Positive film.

Even 35mm if I have to.

Does such a film exist?

You have several alternatives:

In 35mm:

- Rollei Superpan 200 (processing in Agfa Scala process with 3:45 minutes first developing time; all german Scala labs can do it)

- Rollei Retro 400S (and Rollei IR): same as Superpan 200, Scala processing

- Foma R100 (with Foma reversal kit or in Agfa Scala process or in Klaus Wehner process http://www.schwarzweissdia.de/ )

- Agfa Scala (last stock, still available in Germany)

In 120:

- Rollei Superpan 200, Rollei Retro 400S, Rollei IR
