Never Again
I know this is completely frivolous but I was setting up a new to me old IIIc and tried a few of the plastic hot shoe covers I've got laying around, none fit quite right, most overhung the rear of the camera and looked dumb.
It would be nice to find a matching chrome or interesting piece of brass to stick in there, I never like how the empty shoe mount accumulates debris.
I've already owned several SBLOOs and others, I find them hard to keep on the camera. Also looked at some Thumbs Up but not sure they wouldn't interfere with winding. I used to have a simple brass plate cut to fit into my M-bodies that was pretty nice but can no longer find them.

Geezum I thought this was Leica fondeler central command?... surely someone else has stuck a decorative object into their flash shoe, we're all adults and it's nobod else's business if I want to decorate my Leica.
