Is there a finderless Leica LTM body that isn't expensive?

I was looking around for a finderless Leica on eBay today and was kind of surprised to find that all the 1f's and 1c's seem to be more expensive than their rangefinder counterparts. Is this because they're rarer? I'd assumed that they'd be cheaper, as a result of their inferior utility, but perhaps the market is dictated by collectors.

Is there an affordable finderless Leica?

Would you consider a non Leica LTM body? A while back I bought a Bessa L for the same reason: I wanted a finderless body on which to mount my LTM lenses. The little camera works fine and is cheap as chips - around $100. Of course it lacks the cachet of the antique Leica but it is a users camera and works well. The body is polycarbonate but it has a solid metal vertically traveling shutter and a simple but functional light meter. Thats it. I would not say a great camera but it is an acceptable modern take on a very early 35mm camera that is designed for shooting/

The answer is no, not if you need one made by Leica. The Bessa L at about $100 on the used market is a good modern alternative.

$100 for a Bessa L? I gave mine away as a rear lens cap when I sold my VC 21! 😱😀

No, I specifically kind of wanted a finderless Leica, I think they look cool, and I am sure are beautifully made. I have an M2 and Bessa that I can mount anything I want on--it's not a matter of not being able to shoot! I just thought it would be a pleasure to use one.

Leicas without finders were cheaper when new, but now their relative rarity makes them expensive.
