How do you turn an overcast day into a sunny day?
I have tried to adjust white balance and pulled up the yellows but I am just not totally happy with the results. The photos are warmer but it lacks the happy sunny glow. Is there a way to adjust/edit the the image so it looks like the photo was taken in a sunny day?

Thanks!

No. The quintessential effect of sunlight is sharp shadows and high contrast. Turning up contrast on a flat picture with no distinct shadows won't help much. Painstaking retouching might achieve something. Can you do perspective drawing?

Dear Richard,

Exactly. There are just too many other clues. Though I often think of the late Terence Donovan's observation: "Have you ever had a client complain that a picture is too f***ing warm?"

Cheers,

R.
