Is there an adapter to use LTM or M lenses on a Contax !! body?

I see a lot of Chinese lenses being released for LTM or M mount and wondered if there is an adapter that would let me use them on my Contax II?

A search didn't seem to give me any options but it might be I just used the wrong search terms.

I will bow to any real expert who disagrees, but in short no. The Leica flange would have to be physically within the camera, and that is without even thinking about the different focussing systems.

You can do it the other way easily, as you have room to put the adapter/focussing mechanism between the Leica and the Zeiss lens, and this places the lens at the correct distance.

None of this has anything to do with the slight incompatibility between Zeiss and Leica due to their differing definition of 50mm however.

I think the only adapter I've seen for Contax RF bodies would be the Vogitlander Prominant

Voigtlander Prominent Adapter

Though, I suppose mounting an SLR lens may be possible given the right bit of metal. The flange-distance difference may be enough for the hardware and then you would just have to set it to infinity and use the Contax focussing. Though the fact that we haven’t seen it probably means I missed something obvious.
