Is there anyone shooting 6X7 anymore?

Well, I'll have to raise hand here. After some deliberation ended finding an affordable way to enter into medium format wide angle photography. The item in question is a battered Koni-Omega with a 58mm Hexanon lens.

Quite a beast, it quickly redefined my concepts of 'heavy clunky camera', if it delivers the goods though, it will be worth the pain.

:) I'm also looking forward to my medium format wide angle photography.
I acquired a Kowa Six (6x6) and a 55mm lens next to the normal one, which needed some cleaning but seems to work like new now.

I know, i know. It's not a RF. Not even a TLR.But noone knows so i can pretend it's a rf and upload all the great shots I will make!

SHOCKED I am, Oscar! What happened to the Moskva?

Pentax 6x7; Mamiya 7, Fuji 670 II - I love that damn format. Now if I only had time to develop that test roll of Arista Edu film from Freestyle . . .

me too, me too.

...as soon as i get a lens for the well-used p67 i bought months and months and months ago. too many GAS attacks and family needs have made it a low(er) priority. i love 6x7 for portraits and if i was more serious about landscape i would want a 6x9..."if wishes were fishes"

I've been using a Bronica SQb for MF work. I am, at heart, a rangefinder shooter and have been lusting after the Mamiya 7II for awhile. Today I found a really clean package at a very reasonable price so I now own the M7 with the 65 & 150 mm lenses.

I am so excited and plan on a test drive tomorrow.

I just scanned and printed some portraits with Ilford 3200 and the M7/150 handheld at ~1/30s wide open. Wow! Sharp and grainy.
Be sure and try out the Hahnemunle Fine Art Pearl paper for a fiber based look. Very, very close.

At the moment my head goes for an Leica MP or M7 with a 35mm & 50mm to complete my arsenal.

Still shooting Mamiya Super 23, Kodak 100 UC in 120 roll back. 100/2.8, so far no problems with shutter or rangefinder. Other bodies in regular use are Yashica D and Yashica FX-3 Super.

Opportune time for this thread to show signs of life. :) I'm awaiting delivery of a GW670III, so I will soon have no good excuse to sneak in a few uploads from a "wannabe RF" Pentax 67. The Fuji GW670 joins smaller cousins GS645S and GA645Wi, and friend Bronica RF645. I do appreciate the richness offered in MF size negs.

Welcome to RFF, gkhoel... Mamiya Super 23, hmm. Large and interestingly modular rig, I believe, though I've not handled one. Somewhat like the Graflex XL system? I've wondered how it'd be to shoot a Linhof 220.
