I think this is a genuine Leica...not sure on the covering though.
1) Rewind knob (Diamond cuttings full length of knob)
2) Plunger Sleeve (Proper Leica design)
3) RF housing Height (LOW)
4) NO sync (No sync on Leica II)
5) no flash sync adjuster under SS dial (no Sync..not needed)
6) Lens has nail tab f/stop adjuster (FSU's have the ring f/stop adjuster)
Check out his Store.. he has a another Leica which I know is an FSU FED 2c

Read the text; "It's a Russian COPY of a Leica Camera"

He says in the ad that it's a copy. I'd believe him.

I have never seen a FSU copy that was this detailed...Typicaly it is a straight Fed 2c with Leica engravings, sold as "Perfect Leicas"...but no body parts replaced, just the engravings..
SO, Russia REALLY made "Perfect" copies over and above the so called "Perfect" copies??

Other than the sleve around the shutter button, here is my early Fed. Draw your own conclusions.

Thanks...for the photo..Apparently the Early Zorkies (1,2) and latter Feds had similar not so leica parts.

How many is enough?
Interesting camera, but IMO you'd probably drop it the first day you owned it with that body covering!

Really cool looking camera, at any rate.

It's a pity that these guys spend so much time and effort to get these cameras looking like that.
I think they'd be better off spending that same time and effort on making the original FED/Zorkis work right.
Anyway, is it worth it when you can pick up a real Leica IIIc for 250 bucks?

by "sensor" do you mean rf arm cam ?
if so, the early FED cameras had a rounded cam, smaller and way different than what was on a real Leica or a japanese Leica copy.
Later Feds had the typical FSU wedge cam.
you can see what this early FED cam with the rounded end looks like on this site.
