I have been itching to buy one of these and I have watched them start from $999 down to $750 and now this seller out of UK is selling them for you know what! I saw one the other day go for the BIN price from this very same seller...about two weeks ago a Mint- example did over $500
What DO I do? Do I wait? I was hoping to buy one for $500 or under.
I believe there were only 1000 of the NHS edition produced.

I didn't bid and the second camera got sold to a RFF member for $585.00!
COME ON PEOPLE, I waited a few days, all I got was one reply and 86 views?
Can we have some input here? Do I wait for under $500 or is this going to be rock-bottom price for a NEW one of these?
They could get sold out you know, this camera is been out for close to a year.

That's a limited edition, and Gandy says the R2{S,C} were discontinued in April 2005, so I don't think they are going to get any cheaper. May be more expensive. May be.

I posted a thread about these, the price is very tempting, but as was pointed out to me unless you have Nikon lenses to use - why not go for the R{2,3}a?
