I want to connect a new Windows Vista PC to an Apple Airport Extreme wireless network. The network is already working using PSK2 encryption using both a Mac Powerbook and a Windows XP machine.

The wireless network adapter is a Linksys 300N. On the Mac and on the Windows XP PC I can choose PSK2 from a drop down menu. On the XP machine it in the Linksys Monitor software.

On the Vista machine the Monitor software does not load (and will not according to a Linksys tech), and my Vista Home edition has no PSK2 choice in the drop down menu.

oddly enough, the Microsoft site has practically nothing on the Vista / PSK2 combination that I could find, and the Linksys solution with Vista on their site is using WPA-Personal encryption with TKIP -- no mention of PSK2 with Vista that I could find at Linksys.

I'm sure someone out there has already found the solution, sure would like to hear from them.

Thanks
Stephen
