I've found one in a pretty nice condition and a suitable price, so I'm wondering whether to take it or not.

I've done a couple of exposures with an old Russian fed-2 and like the shooting style.

Yet, my worries are:
- The yashica has no manual mode, only A-priority. And while I shoot almost always in Ap with my dSLR, can I rely on the yashica's metering ?

- How should I check the camera to make sure that everything's in order ?

In a word - yes, it is, and worth every penny.
As first RF it can lean you towards Av or fully manual cameras, if you don't start with Tv AE RF's.

Great, I just got it. As it's Sunday currently, I'll have to wait till tomorrow to get some batteries. (although I've tested it with it's previous owner batteries and it worked fine)

I've got a kodak colorplus 200 for now, and a kodak 400bw [c41 process] in the line 🙂
