Hey all,
I just received an Iskra in pretty good condition. However, when opened, the lens points down very slightly. It definitely doesn't look parallel to the film plane... And there's some play -- I can rock it back to the "right" position with my finder. Looking at the camera, it seems to be that the "feet" of the lens aren't making a full connection to the struts. Maybe they've been worn down a little?
Has anyone experienced this and/or fixed it?

I wound up affixing a bit of tin foil to the struts to shim them up. Now the lens assembly is more or less stable... After getting back some negatives from this camera, I'm very happy with it! It's leagues sharper than my Perkeo (but also about twice as big)...
