i meant to say...stop whining about changes to the site, it gets tiresome.
if people have complaints then contact the owner directly and start a dialogue, get to the heart of things immediately.

I get these type of ebay and Paypal emails almost daily. I just report them as spam and move on.

Um, forgive me, but nobody with any internet savy whatsoever should fall for those things. The horrendous grammar and poor spelling should sound only one of several alarm bells. It's 2007- this sort of basic internet scam is well known. I thought it was common knowledge by now that if you recieve a suspect message like this, do not to click on any links, but contact the company the message purports to be from and ask if there is a legitimate problem, and report the scam.

If this isn't clear, I hardly think a forum for photography is the place you should be looking for help.

I generally ignore e-mails supposedly from banks/companies/auction sites where simple words like "tried" are mis-spelled. It's small things like this that are the giveaway.

For the english-native members, please kindly remember that some of us foreigners are "fluent" in english, yet it is not our mother language therefore it is easier for some of us to "fall" in such traps and misread, or rather skip a poorly-written word or sentence.

I ignore them as well, they are usually easy to spot, but I still remember my own wide-eyed innocence when I first started using thInternet. Fortunately that was so long ago that scammers were not up to speed yet.

OK, this is a good point, and forgive me if I sounded harsh. In typically English-centric fashion, I was ignoring this obvious situation. But the advice- minus the dismissive tone- still stands. Never click on a link in a message like this- contact the company seperately, and ask if it's legitimate before taking any action.

I have a very specific e-mail address tied for that type of correspondence. I have filters on the other e-mail accounts to put it in a folder, where I can just forward to the abuse/spam/etc. departments of each.

Well dyslexic old Noel cannot accept your post as correct e.g. you have managed to spell seperately wrong, tusk tusk, such an email might be typed by a tired worker and might have miss spellings/typos. If you send money I'll send a specc checker.

I almost fell one of these as well..

it was because at same time I had used eBay & Paypal quite a lot, usually my accounts rest for years without any activity. I am also non-native with English, perhaps there were grammatic errors there, perhaps not.

luckily I remembered the warnings about phishing, before doing anything.

I have used "the net" since the very beginning, perhaps my "internet savyness" have degraded recently...
