Ricoh GR with a DSPTCH small sling strap is the first thing that springs to mind for me.

I know this won't be a popular choice, but the Canon 5D MkIII. It's an absolute beast, and I have utter confidence that it'll cope with anything I throw at it.
 
And because it's just come into my head, I really like the OpTech system of connectors, I don't switch stuff around often, but they always make it super easy.

It's also handy to have continuity between sets of equipment.
 
Amid the increasing philosophical musings about what “perfect” actually means, I’ll clarify my own position in that I am happy with what I own. I don’t lust after any other camera or any other lens. I don’t seek an upgrade of any sort. I think that’s good, very good.

Yes, in fantasy land, I would apply something on the M2 that indicates a level horizon, but within the confines of reality, I am more than content.

So no, it’s not a quest for technical perfection, particularly given that my set up is already half-a-century old, and nor do I feel the need to shake things up for the sake of it.

And at this stage, if my photos are to be good, I have absolutely only myself to blame if they are not, and that’s good too.
 
My Ralf Aust 7/8 French Point horn scaled straight razor. Use it 9 out of 10 days and the only way it could be improved is if it was perpetually sharp and I didn't have to do a touch-up hone every three weeks or so.
 
Perfect should be a goal, not necessarily reality. Besides, if we had perfect, we'd probably lose GAS, and that would be terrible.
 
i never anticipated that any one person would have a kit of perfection...i feel lucky that i discovered the lance strap and that it fits me and my ways perfectly.
i like my fuji kit but it's far from perfect...which is fine as i like quirky things...
you guys should remember that when i ask a question that it is usually much more simple than the many of the answers received.

I have to respectfully disagree. Having perfection as a goal means either one reaches their goal, which means they are either narcissistic and self-deluded (since no one is perfect), or they don't reach their goal, which leads to depression.

In fact, I don't like goals at all. I like being who and what I am, and I am content. Do I strive to improve? Sure, but only as and when it happens; I don't try to force improvement.

What is perfect in this reality? The Internet for senseless quibbling.

Notwithstanding, I have a Lieutenant strap from Sailor strap that looks very similar to the Classic Strap from Lance and I also find it an ideal form for its function. The Lance quick-connect hook looks interesting and with it I might have an even more perfect strap setup. The rounded shape of the strap avoids twisting-up the strap when worn which always seems to happen even with swivels on my straps.

Though for an SLR camera, the BlackRapid CrossShot Sling Strap is a more perfect solution for the greater bulk.
