Nick De Marco
Well-known
Photos from the Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel which has taken place since the 1880s in Clerkenwell, the first pocket of Italian immigration into London in the 19th century, and formerly known as London's "Little Italy". The intensely Catholic procession takes place around the Italian Church in London, St Peter's of Clerkenwell, but coincides with a festival of Italian food, culture and life in the neighbouring streets.
