It's a Sony! No, It's a Zorki! No, it's...

A bit steep but actually very nicely done. I wonder if they would make one to order? Imagine the new DSC-RX100's innards in something that looks like this. Well, maybe not exactly like this, but a teensie bit more believable. I would love to use one!

I mean... I think it's cool. Maybe not THIS one, like you said, but something similar. I always wondered why someone couldn't just stick some electronics inside of a 35mm body and make it work... Guess these guys figured it out. Sorta. :D

I'd love one, albeit not in this particular Leicafication-overkill body. Nor for this price. ;)

Friends of mine in Germany and Austria modified a couple FED and ZORKI bodies by hacking some digital Point&Shoot into them, but those aren't even remotely well done as this one.

Here's one done in 2010 at hackaday.com. That build is so similar, you'd say they were from the same maker. Though it could simply be the result of the way both the Zorki and the Sony inside it are built.

I agree, totally over the top. But cool too. A camera to really baffle your friends with. Half the price, just maybe. ;)

Ive seen several videos via YouTube of craftsmen demonstrating that very upgrade (i.e. digi stuffed into a FSU). You might give it a search. Very Interesting, but WOW on the tariff.

This is what the Leica X2 should have been - (built in viewfinder).

Wouldn't it be cool if the RF was coupled to the lens as well for manual focusing?
