I've finally done it!!! That's right! A complete Canon P kit tucked safely
away in a Pelican case!
Much hard work and patience in that little case!

The 35mm is MINT, the 50mm is sound, but not very pretty, and the 100mm is prolly an 8/10 cosmetically and 9.5/10 optically.
I CLA'd the 50mm and 100mm myself. Pretty easy actually. Just don't
let the aperture blades fall out like I did lol. Took me an hour to get the
little suckers set back up correctly! Some photos of Samm with the 50 and 100. Y'all have already seen some from the 35mm...

I can't. I pasted the flickr links into my browser. I don't know how to embed the flickr pictures, I just attach them usually with the little paperclip. It uploads them off your hard drive but they can only be 600 px max dimension. You can search, I know people have posted how to do it so it links to flickr a few times, but I have never done it. You could just link to flickr, too.

Nice nice nice. I store my cameras in three aluminium cases, but I haven't sorted out the foam inserts yet. I fancy doing this for my digital Pen kit.

To be perfectly honest, having the kit in the Pelican case really isn't very convenient.
My main motivation for putting everything in a hardcase is the fact that I ride a KTM
dual-sport EVERYWHERE I go.... A while back, I took a pretty good spill running down
some trails and the one thing going through my mind while flying through the air was:

"OH MY GOD MY CAMERA ......" I had it in a soft case in my backpack and I landed flat on my back lol.. VERY luckily, nothing happened to the camera or lens... I bought the
Pelican case the very next day :)

Based on the photos, the 1170 looks like it can handle three bodies across. With collapsible lenses mounted, this would be the perfect size!

Nice P, by the way.

Thanks. The 50mm has really taken me by surprise. I'd be willing to say that even though
it has some pretty decent cosmetic and even optical flaws, if I could only take one lens,
the 50mm would be it. It really is just the perfect focal length! It's still pretty compact
while still being relatively fast... I'll probably be keeping an eye out for a nicer copy of this
lens... I like it a LOT....

P.s. Any feedback on the photos??
