For that kind of money, one could probably get close to sticking a full frame digital sensor into an M film body. I'm just sayin' 🙄

Gorgeous camera though. I've been wanting one of the early Leicas without RF for a while now.
But if I had 1.3 mil Euro, I'd buy a (cheaper) Ferrari, some gas, that plastic Nikon RF hood in the classifieds and have just enough left over for a burger and fries from a fast food joint.

Buying a house with a 30 years mortgage is insane if you think of it. But it's the norm, and you're a loser if you don't do it.

I'm sure the 1.9 mill is just play money for the buyer. No one can say what they would do since they are not in that person's shoes. You cannot fathom how your perspective would change if you have money until you actually have the money.

Guess I'm just not a romantic. Since I use my cameras, I'd rather have one of my Leica Ms than that $1M cameras. Much easier to use.

So I'm guessing my $15 Black Leica III with nickel Elmar on it was a comparative bargain. And it has an RF.

People value things differently. I'm guessing that no one on RFF would spend $1.9M on a Leica, but everyone here would spend $15 on it.
