I recently posted about my love for the FSU lenses , about three days ago I recieved a zorki 1c . This camera is in great shape, and seems to work nearly flawlessly (for an FSU RF).I've shot two rolls with it and so far i've been pleased with the results though I may need to upgrade my scanner.

I got it off the bay from a us seller, it appears to have been recently cla'ed and is very clean overall. Still getting used to the rangefinder seperate from the viewfinder. Im scanning some negatives from the roll that i just finished up today so I can post shots from this camera.

Well,
Its been fun but now this particular FSU RF has found its way to the classifieds. I got a Leica M3 today so now I need move on from it. Hopefully it'll find a home with another RFF'er

You don't know how lucky you are! I've searched in vain for a working Zorki I!
I had to settle with an "C"

"Flim? You want flim?"
Less than a month and you're selling? That is a record. Hope you don't regret it later. Good working FSU's are like hens' teeth. My Fed 2 needed a lot of work.

I would like to see the improvement that you get from switching from this Zorki 1 to the new M3. Really I am curious.

It's not so much about the leica improving anything it's about having unused gear that another rff member or rf user could be enjoying, if it doesn't sell I won't be upset and it'll still see some use. I wanted an m3 and it was hard to pass it up , having the zorki sitting wouldn't be good for it either. Well see what happens I'm sure if it doesn't sell I'll still be using it.

My M5s need red dots!
Similar experience here...
While my M3 was being revived at DAG I got a Kiev with two lenses. I didn't have much time to even put film on it when my M3 came back. I took my Leica on a trip and when I came back the VF on the Kiev was so squinty and the whole operation felt so strange that I sold it without even shooting a roll.
Again, why keep a good camera when someone else could be having fun using it?
