I've got the Nikkor-sc 5cm f1.4 LTM. Do I still need the ZM C-Sonnar?

should i get the C Sonnar? I've got the nikkor-sc (x2) and was wondering if i'm missing anything from the acclaimed C Sonnar....

Can anyone who own these 2 lenses share their thoughts and images of them side by side? handling, size, image characteristics...etc.

I do not have the modern "C" Sonnar, but do have several of the classic Sonnar formula lenses. I have several Nikkor 5cm F1.4's, most in S-Mount for the Nikon RF.

The Nikkor-SC 5cm f1.4 is optimized for close-up, and wide-open performance. The Bokeh on it tends to be harsher than the other Sonnar formula 50s that I use.

So, as to whether you need another Sonnar formula lens, you be the judge. Shoot with this one. If you like the results, don't get another.

I do have the "T" Sonnar 5cm f1.5 in LTM (circa 1941 or so).

And feel that I do not need the "C" Sonnar.

I`m in the market for one to put on my 43' IIIC K Grey 😀 ~ But, of course you know that already......
