interesting...i was just thinking about something similar...i have invested way too much emotion in the past year or so, into american politics...online and tv...just watching and getting hopelessly entangled in all it's crap!
if i had invested even a small part of that passion into my photography i would have, at least, had a few good images to show for it.
i need to redirect my focus.

Yes! I was reading this thread with some sadness. The fact is you take very decent, often rich, photos of those around you -- and if you share them -- surely they must bring joy to others? And you?

Life is just -- well life, it's what you do each day, photos can add to that experience. I don't personally expect any more, I am not going to turn into HCB suddenly.
