J&C 100 film is what?

I seem to remember being told it was Foma, but maybe I recall incorrectlty and it was Efke. Sorry my memory isn 't too good today.

Confirmed. I contacted Freestyle, and they told me the Hungarian film maker "Forte" has gone out of business. They no longer have any Forte pan in stock.

Seems so odd, any possibility the company may have some life left in it among the Magyar?

Foma and Forte both saw a lot of $$ signs in the US -- raising prices of their wholesale perhaps higher than retail in the home lands. I used to bring back bricks and bulk yearly.

Foma 200, under any of the names they used, was a favorite of mine for years. The company was a bit flaky in their business dealings. Roger gave it high marks years back.

Forte was picked up by a major distributor here, and I sold some Foma imported by Misha Daniels.

Perhaps with a bit of luck they will reorganize, though I had hopes for the other Czech photo company Neobrom which AFAIK, sits empty in Brno.

Regards, John

Keep your hopes very low
The building was rzed and now an apartment complex is being built there
Alll the machinery is MIA, but I believe the formulas/methods were acquired by someone else.
Meanwhile you can use the FOMAS, EFKES and the MACO Agfa remakes.

JohnTF, i sure hope they do reorganize. i make do with fomapan 100 and arista premium 100. sure miss it, though.
